Instructions of use SanaCore Folate 400 (6S)

Optimal combination:

Combine for optimal results with Methylcobalamin and Adenosylcobalamin:

Folate (5-MTHF)

Is the biologically active form of Folic Acid/ There are two kinds of Folate:
  • L-5-Methyltetrahydrofolate Calcium, also known as Metafolin®
Where the Folate is linked to calcium salt
  • (6S) 5-Methyltetrahydrofolate Glucosamine salt , also known as Quatrefolic®
Where the Folate is linked to glucosamin salt
Research has shown that glucosamine salt more easily releases folate than calcium salt.1 We have noticed, however, that one person responds better to calcium salt and the other better to glucosamine salt. That is why we offer both. The active substance in both is the same: 5-Methyltetrahydrofolate.

We offer both forms in tablets of 400mcg, which can easily be divided into quarters for 100mcg portions. The possible initial aggravation of folate can be very heavy. This possible aggravation can also cause new complaints.
Common complaints when starting with Folate (MTHF)2:

  • irritability
  • insomnia
  • aching muscles and joints
  • acne and skin rash
  • serious fears
  • palpitations
  • nausea
  • headache and migraine

Intake

It is advisable to start your Folate dosage with a gradual build-up. Begin with a quarter lozenge (100mcg). Keep a close eye on the symptoms. Stop immediately when worsening. In case of aggravation, it is advisable to stop the folate intake for at least one week. If the symptoms are experienced as severe, contact your doctor immediately.
