Disclaimer: It is important that you’ve visited a general practitioner and he or she has found no other reason(s) for your symptoms. Moreover, it is important to take a B12-serumtest and a folium acid test as a baseline measurement before starting supplementation. Your GP can look at this baseline measurement.

If you have a vitamin B12 deficiency, the following approach is recommended:

Use the two types of highly effective vitamin B12 lozenges over an initial period of 4 months: Methylcobalamin B12 and Adenosylcobalamin B12. These are two biologically active forms of B12. Biologically active means that they do not have to be converted by the body in order to be useful(unlike other non-active forms of B12). This way you can be sure the B12 works.

The customized packages consist of the two active vitamin B12 forms: Methylcobalamin and Adenosylcobalamin together with Folic acid: Standard Pack and Power Pack.

How soon can I expect results after I start taking these two different types of vitamins B12 lozenges?

It is difficult to say: this depends on one’s physical (and mental) condition. If there is a true vitamin B12-deficiency, you should be starting to notice a lot of positive changes after 6 to 12 weeks.

It is important to know that it is not possible for a high intake of vitamin B12 to cause harmful side effects. (Also look at the many scientific references on our website about this). Any vitamin B12 consumed in excess will be excreted in the urine.
